The PDC sound is produced by a small speaker that is connected directly to the PAM (Parking Assistance Module). There are no (configuration) settings that affect the volume. The tensioner was a genuine tensioner, it's the idler pulley that wasn't. The one I got from ford and ina brand has Volvo etched and a Volvo/ford part number where as the one from a&e doesnt.
